So this week our little guy has not been feeling good. I figured it was because he was teething,as it was no rarity to find him gnawing on things around the house. The last couple of days though he kept having re-occurring fevers and was very needy of my attention, following me everywhere and pleading for my attention. Needless to say, the house is not as clean this week and the errands will have to wait as I took this opportunity to cuddle and comfort my boy. Last night dad was his go-to for comfort as he cuddled into his neck in our bed. Then this morning I felt bad when we found out from the doctor that he has a double ear infection. Hopefully now with his prescription, he can start acting like our happy little boy again.
This last month, Holden has come a long way in his development. First, he started sitting up from a lying down position. This opened up a whole new world for him. Then from there, he kept getting into a crawling position and doing nose dives as he lunged forward. Then literally out of the blue, he started crawling, then army crawling, then back to rolling because it was easier, then transitioning into a full time crawler. From there he could pull himself up to his knees, and now his favorite is to stand and walk holding our hands. At his appointment today, we found out that Holden dropped to the 90th percentile in weight and 80th percentile in height.

Oh, poor little guy! I hope he feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteI love those pictures, especially the one where he is concentrating to grab the ball. So cute!
