Proud Graduate...
So Trevor graduated in May from Mechanical Engineering, but was unable to walk because Holden was in the NICU. We didn't want the cap and gown to go to waste so we decided to at least get some pictures. I do have to say that I am so proud of him. He worked really hard for this degree and graduated with honors. Now he is able to provide for his family, working at a nuclear test reactor. He is an amazing husband and father and I am so grateful that I have him in my life.

So this week has been pretty frustrating as a mom...right when you think you have things down, they go and change things on you. Three nights this week Holden starting waking up every two hours. Aside from that we can no longer get him to take a bottle anymore. Its like he woke up one day and decided that he just wanted milk from mom only. It is so interesting how his personality and strong will is showing through already. I can't even begin to get the bottle in his mouth because he blocks it with his tongue. I feel like pulling out my hair sometimes but then he will do something to make me laugh. I have to remember to be patient because above all, he needs me to love him and fulfill his needs. I get so worked up on getting him "trained" to be a certain way. This little man is completely irresistible and has his parents wrapped around his fingers.

So Holden laughed for the first time today. It was so cute...I started tickling his neck and he just gave out a chuckle. To make sure I was really hearing this, I kept doing it and finally recorded him so that I had the proof. I knew he was getting close because he was squeling and making noises as he watched his new favorite video, Baby Einsteins. His first smile was exactly one month after he was born and his first laugh is exactly 3 months.
